Maryland Out of School Time

Career and College Readiness

The Maryland Out of School Time Network has issued a Request for Proposals seeking youth development organizations to particpate in a Career and College Readiness Professional Learning Community. There are only 10 organizational spots available statewide.

● Free intensive train-the-trainer experience

● Expert and peer to peer coaching and support

● Access to "Hello Insight", a data collection and analysis tool

● Free curricula and resources

● Reimbursement for parking at trainings

● Reimbursement for travel over 30 miles to trainings

 

Requirements to Participate

● Afterschool or summer organization serving Middle and/or High school students

● At least 20 students currently enrolled

● Participate the full 2 years and sign an MOU

● Identify 2-3 staff members to represent the organization

 

Priority (including but not limited to)

● Support underserved population (including students of color, students with disabilities, students living in rural communities, students learning English as a Second Language, etc.)

● Statewide representation

● Multi site organizations
